Our client is looking to hire a Medical Manager to join the team over a long period of time to cover a maternity leave.
Description
Reporting to the Medical Lead your main responsibilities will be:
Thorough understanding of Healthcare needs in the disease areas of interest, stakeholder landscape and governance.
Understanding of unmet medical needs in the disease areas of interest and ability to build and maintain trustful long-term relations with therapeutic area experts and decision makers and leveraging on that to drive patient access to Innovative Diagnostic Solutions (IDS).
Strong communications skills, being clear and capable of retaining wide audience's attention
Passion for learning, capable of self-updating and enthusiastic to share knowledge
Business acumen to integrate medical knowledge and external insights on the buildup of local strategy
Open mind, flexible to accept new concepts and eager for new challenges
Be able to work with autonomy, and capable of defining and executing action plan to speed up access to IDS.
Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
Healthcare related background, namely MD, PharmD or PhD
Proven and relevant work experience in Medical Affairs with pharmaceutical products or IVD's/ software as medical device, in in Oncology.
Fluency in English and Portuguese.
Passion to innovate and able to manage changes
Be a fast learner and pursue continuous knowledge uptake around developments in healthcare and disease management solutions
