Savills Portugal, holding a prominent position in the national market, intends to reinforce its team with the integration of a Shopping Centre Marketing Manager for Madeira Island.
Reporting directly to the Centre Manager, this professional will lead marketing, communication, advertising, and digital strategy, with the aim of strengthening the brand, increasing the centre's value, and delivering memorable experiences to visitors. We are looking for someone innovative, results-oriented, and highly adaptable to market trends.
Key tasks/activities:
- Team Leadership: Coordinate, develop, and motivate the marketing team, aligning efforts with the centre's strategic objectives.
- Strategic Planning: Develop, implement, and update the annual marketing and communication plan (online and offline), ensuring alignment with commercial goals and brand positioning.
- Budget Management: Define and control the marketing budget, ensuring proper allocation of resources and evaluation of ROI.
- Agency and Supplier Relations: Supervise collaboration with advertising, communication, design, digital media agencies, and event suppliers.
- Social Media & Online Reputation: Define and execute the centre's digital strategy (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.), including content planning, promotional campaigns, digital customer service, and metric analysis.
- Influencer Marketing: Identify and collaborate with local influencers and content creators to expand campaign reach.
- Press Relations: Manage relationships with media outlets to ensure positive and continuous coverage of the centre.
- Tenant & Visitor Engagement: Establish effective communication channels with tenants and visitors, promoting participation, loyalty, and satisfaction.
- Data Analysis: Work with management to analyse sales, footfall, and consumer behaviour, using Business Intelligence tools.
- Content Management: Ensure all materials respect the brand's visual identity and values.
- Market Research: Plan and implement market studies, satisfaction surveys, and competitor analysis.
- Digital Optimisation: Manage and enhance the shopping centre's website, ensuring updates, usability, and SEO positioning.
- Innovation & Trends: Monitor sector trends, proposing innovative actions.
- Events & Experiences: Plan and coordinate experiential events, themed campaigns, and sensory marketing actions.
- Specialty Leasing & Branded Events: Manage the commercial use of common areas, temporary leases, promotional collaborations, and experiential marketing actions.
Requirements, Skills and Experience:
- Degree in Marketing, Communication, Management, or similar;
- Proven experience in marketing roles, preferably in shopping centres, retail, or related sectors;
- Experience in team leadership and multidisciplinary project management;
- Solid knowledge of digital marketing, social media, SEO, and data analysis;
- Strategic planning, budget management, and ROI evaluation skills;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and customer orientation;
- Innovative, proactive profile with a strong sense of responsibility.
