We are currently supporting a global biopharmaceutical company in the recruitment of a Head of Marketing for its Portuguese affiliate. This strategic role will lead national brand planning, launch preparation and cross-functional execution across multiple therapeutic areas within a highly regulated, specialty-driven environment.

Description

  • Lead the development and implementation of national brand strategies, ensuring alignment with global and regional priorities.
  • Oversee structured launch planning and readiness activities, coordinating with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Sales and other internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis, integrating insights from KAMs, MSLs and external partners into actionable marketing plans.
  • Drive the execution of omnichannel initiatives, promotional materials, congress activities and customer engagement strategies.
  • Manage brand budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and performance monitoring across KPIs.
  • Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration to deliver integrated and impactful brand plans.
  • Guarantee full compliance with internal policies, SOPs, and applicable national industry regulations.
  • Promote a culture of ethical conduct and customer-centricity across all marketing activities.

Profile

  • University degree in Health Sciences, Economics, Management, or related fields (Master's degree desirable).
  • Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience in regulated, cross-functional environments.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders within hospital and institutional settings.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into strategic action.
  • Solid experience working within matrix organizations and interacting with international teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English; Spanish is an advantage.
