Job Purpose


This role is part of the Business Management and Transformation Division within the Global Marketing Unit, which is responsible for driving, standardizing, optimizing, and automating global marketing budget processes and KPI frameworks to enhance business efficiency and maximize ROI.


As Marketing Budget and Performance Specialist, you will support regional marketing teams in managing budgets, monitoring spending, tracking performance, and ensuring adherence to global standards. You'll work closely with stakeholders across Marketing Heads, Marketing Teams, Finance, and Procurement, providing first-line support, proactively identifying and resolving challenges, and helping to improve cost transparency, streamline processes, and deliver actionable insights through reporting and analysis.


The ideal candidate will be highly organized, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. You should be proactive in troubleshooting and process optimization, with excellent project management abilities to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential for conveying complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders and collaborating across departments to drive success.


Key Accountabilities


Stakeholder Management: Participates proactively in marketing strategic discussions and negotiations. Supports stakeholders needs related to budget and KPIs, while leading them through the processes.

Budget Management: Supports regional marketing teams (country level) with budget management and cost control, including forecasting, allocation, planning, PO creation and vendor management, ensuring financial reconciliation and adherence with defined guidelines and processes.

Troubleshooting & Support: Acts as the first point of contact for marketing stakeholders, providing timely and effective first-line support for incident resolution, especially related to budgeting tools (MRM and MPM), to maintain operational efficiency.

Regional Liaison: Proactively liaises Marketing Heads, Marketing Teams, Finance and Procurement on budget/cost related topics to ensure business continuity, anticipate and resolve operational issues.

Reporting and Analytics: Generates and presents comprehensive reports and dashboards on budget performance to senior management, deriving actionable insights to inform decision-making and optimize budget performance and efficiency.

Process Optimization: Proactively identifies bottlenecks and inefficiencies in budget processes and collaborates with the Process Engineering team to implement solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance stakeholder satisfaction.

Marketing Performance Management: Responsible for measuring, reporting, and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), with a strong focus on marketing ROI, providing actionable insights by identifying trends and performance gaps to optimize marketing effectiveness and support strategic decisions.

Desired Experience & Knowledge


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (advanced degree is a plus)
  • 3+ years of experience in budget management, financial planning, or performance analysis, ideally within a marketing or commercial environment
  • Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and marketing budgeting processes, including forecasting, allocation, planning, spend tracking, and cost recovery.
  • Proven experience with budget and financial data analysis and reporting
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint)
  • Excellent / fluent verbal & written communication skills (English)


  • Proven experience working with budgeting tools (preferable)
  • Financial and ERP software experience, like SAP (preferable)
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools, like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense (preferable)
  • AI, RPA and Automation tools experience, like Power Automate (preferable)
  • Project management software experience, like Asana (preferable)
  • Proven experience with marketing KPIs analysis and reporting (preferable)
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce) and marketing automation tools (Pardot) (preferable)
  • Experience in ROMI/mROI measurement (preferable)
