As the Manager of Innovation for the Distributed Generation (DG) segment at Greenvolt, you will lead the identification, development, and implementation of innovative solutions to drive growth and profitability. Your focus will be on transforming products, processes, and business models within the DG business, ensuring that Greenvolt remains a leader in the evolving energy landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Innovation Strategy and Opportunity Sourcing:
- Define and propose the innovation strategy for the DG segment.
- Identify, assess, and select innovation opportunities relevant to the DG business.
Project Leadership:
- Propose and lead the implementation of approved projects related to innovative products, solutions, processes, or business models.
- Ensure timely and effective project execution in coordination with relevant teams.
Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders within the DG business unit to ensure alignment and adoption of innovation initiatives.
Thought Leadership:
- Promote a culture of innovation within the DG segment.
- Keep abreast of trends, technologies, and best practices in the sector.
Profile:
- University degree (preferably in Engineering; Economics, Management or similar fields may also be suitable).
- 8+ years of experience in innovation, preferably within the energy sector or in emerging tech companies.
- Strong project management skills.
- Fluency in English (mandatory).
- Solid technology awareness and business acumen.
- Exposure to innovation methodologies such as design thinking, agile, or lean startup (nice to have).
- Network within the innovation ecosystem (nice to have).
