Lead M&A transactions, managing execution, clients and junior team members

Description

Lead the execution of M&A transactions from origination through completion;

Coordinate financial analysis, valuation and transaction structuring;

Manage the preparation of pitches, information memoranda and client materials;

Lead due diligence processes and coordinate external advisers;

Maintain direct interaction with clients, investors and transaction counterparties;

Identify key transaction issues and provide strategic recommendations;

Supervise, coach and review the work of junior team members;

Support senior leadership in business development and origination activities;

Contribute to the development of long-term client relationships.

Profile

Degree in Finance, Economics, Management, Engineering or a related field;

Relevant experience in M&A, Investment Banking or Corporate Finance;

Proven experience managing transactions with a high degree of autonomy;

Advanced financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities;

Strong commercial judgement and understanding of transaction dynamics;

Experience managing junior professionals and coordinating project teams;

Strong client-facing, communication and presentation skills;

Ability to manage multiple transactions and demanding deadlines;

Fluency in Portuguese and English.
