As a General Ledger, you will be involved in monthly closing tasks, reconciliation of Inventory Accounts, and Fixed Assets, contributing to the effective management of Assets Accounting.

Description

• Manage monthly Costing Allocations and Inventory valuation;
• Conduct closing alert checks and support Fixed Asset Accounting processes.

Costing Responsibilities:

• Oversee costing processes, including recording CO transactions, running cycles, settling WBS & orders, cost estimates, and conducting preliminary P&L and closure checks;
• Manage CO Master Data, including cost centers, cycle changes, WBS, and material FICO view;
• Perform inventory valuation and analyze accounts;
• Prepare and report IFRS month-end financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Margin in Inventories) in the appropriate sections of the Consolidation tool (BFC), and perform preliminary checks (resolve blocking controls);
• Provide support for external audits and execute internal controls.

Fixed Asset Accounting:

• Process requests for the creation of fixed assets and projects, capitalize closed projects, and handle impairment, retirement, and disposal of fixed assets;
• Record changes related to IFRS16 Lease contracts (creation, updates);
• Perform month-end closing tasks, including settlement of costs to Asset Under Construction, depreciation, and check FI/Asset Accounting;
• Analyze and reconcile accounts;
• Report IFRS month-end Fixed Assets (ACTUAL2) and quarterly IFRS Appendices (ACTUAL3) in the relevant sections of the Consolidation tool (BFC), ensuring preliminary checks (resolving blocking controls);
• Provide support for external audits and execute internal controls.

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields (other degrees may be considered);
• Relevant professional experience in accounting and/or auditing;
• Strong knowledge in Management Accounting areas;
• Proficient in SAP, particularly in CO/PS/AA modules;
• Experience with SAP Business Warehouse (BW) is a plus;
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus;
• Resilient and open-minded approach to challenges;
