We are looking for a Mainframe Cobol Developer, for a project based in Lisbon.

Mission: Ongoing project with a young and dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the system in operational condition;
• Carry out evolution and corrective developments/ perfective, corrective and preventive maintenance;
• Performing tests;
• Incident management and reporting.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or similar.
• 4+ years of experience with Mainframe and Cobol.
• Solid experience in DB2 and SQL.
• Strong knowledge in JCL, CICS, Batch, VSAM, IDZ, Changeman.
• Experience with Micro focus.
• Previous experience in the finance or insurance area.
• Solid problem-solving ability, excellent communication, and collaboration.
• Interest in technical aspects.
• Sense of service.
• Good interpersonal skills and good written and oral communication skills
• Good listening skills.
• Analytical and synthesizing skills.
• Ability to organize and adapt.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Self-motivated.
• Curiosity.
• Good level of english.
• Good level of French (Plus).
