Greenvolt Group is seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) team focused on the renewable energy sector. In this role, you will support the execution of strategic acquisition initiatives and contribute to our mission of advancing sustainable energy solutions. Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in the financial analysis and modelling of potential acquisition targets, including valuation assessments and sensitivity analysis.
- Support the due diligence process by gathering, analysing, and synthesizing data from various sources to evaluate target companies.
- Prepare detailed presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders to communicate findings and investment recommendations.
- Contribute to market research and industry analysis, identifying trends, growth opportunities, and competitive dynamics within the renewables energy landscape.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integration of acquisitions and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Maintain and update financial databases, deal pipelines, and other reporting tools to track progress and performance metrics.
- Participate in negotiations and interact with external parties, including investment banks, legal advisers, and target companies.
Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development, with exposure to the renewable energy sector preferred.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a knack for translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for the renewable energy sector and a keen understanding of its trends and challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Programming skills are a plus.
