Descrição da Função
We're looking for an Inventory & Shipping Specialist to cover a 3 month maternity leave to support end-to-end operational execution, with a strong focus on inventory accuracy, stock control across multiple locations, and transportation/shipping coordination. This role also provides backup support for shipping activities across different regions.
Key responsibilities
- Record and validate inventory movements in the ERP, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels across multiple warehouses to reduce stockouts and excess stock
- Maintain and improve inventory and shipping SOPs/process documentation
- Create and manage transportation/shipping orders; coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams
- Prepare shipping documentation (packing lists, delivery notes, transport guides) in line with legal/company standards
- Track logistics-related KPIs (delivery performance, freight costs) and drive improvement actions
- Collaborate with procurement, production, warehousing, and customer service to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Industrial Management or similar
- 3+ years in supply chain operations, inventory control, or transportation/shipping coordination
- Fluent in English and Portuguese
- Strong ERP/inventory tools proficiency (Odoo is a plus)
- Analytical, process-oriented, detail-focused, and proactive in continuous improvement
Nice to have
- Multi-location inventory experience
- Freight forwarding/customs exposure and Incoterms knowledge
- Familiarity with compliance and transport regulations
Offer:
- In terms of Directive (UE) 2023/970 base salary is 1830 euros gross
- Temporary 3 month role
