We are looking for a Loan Trading Officer


MAIN TASKS:

As a Loan Trading Officer within the Loan Trading Support team, your key responsibilities include:

  • Implement buy and sell trades initiated by the Front Office.
  • Analyze legal documentation of financing operations.
  • Produce necessary transfer documents (e.g. trade confirmations, pricing letters, transfer certificates).
  • Follow up on the full buy/sell trade process:
  • Perform compliance checks.
  • Compute loan amounts and associated fees.
  • Conduct waiver analysis.
  • Manage original documentation.
  • Maintain relationships with clients.
  • Record trades in loan management system.
  • Manage cashflows and monitor cash discrepancies (cashbreaks).
  • Validate transactions for accuracy and compliance.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, Front Office, and internal departments.
  • Investigate and resolve trade-related queries.



YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:

  • Master's degree in Economics, Management, or Law.
  • Experience (Preferred): Financing Operations, Banking Environment, Capital Markets Post-trade
  • Technical Knowledge: Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, etc.), LoanIQ tool, Payments, Accounting basics
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Hybrid role in Porto
