Mechanical Lead - Data Centre

Location: Sines, Portugal

Salary: €110,000-€130,000 + Flights + Accommodation + Tax Free Allowance + Package

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Lead to join our state-of-the-art data centre project in Sines, Portugal. This is a unique opportunity to lead mechanical operations in a high-profile, technically advanced facility. The role comes with a competitive salary and an attractive overseas package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all mechanical operations within the data centre, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Manage installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems including HVAC, chilled water, pumps, and cooling towers.
• Coordinate with project managers, electrical teams, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and leadership to mechanical engineers and technicians.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards to deliver on schedule and within scope.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

• EU passport holder.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Lead in data centre or large industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water systems, pumps, and mechanical maintenance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
