We're hiring a Tech Lead for one of the most ambitious AI + ontology-driven data platforms in Portugal right now.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll own architectural decisions, lead a cross-functional team, and ship a user experience that serves both humans and AI agents - a product where front-end polish and back-end depth matter equally.
What you'll do
- Drive architecture and technical direction end-to-end
- Lead and mentor the dev team, with strong code review culture
- Build and integrate robust front-end (React/Angular) and back-end (Node.js, APIs) layers
- Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams on real-time, data-intensive features
- Push the bar on performance, scalability and code quality
What we're looking for
- Solid command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React or Angular
- Strong back-end skills in Node.js, API design and server architecture
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
- Proven team leadership and mentoring track record
- Bachelor's or higher in CS, Software Engineering or similar
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- Nice to have: ontology-based data systems and real-time data integrations
