Lead DevOps Engineer & Midlevel DevOps Engineer HFT Startup

Location: Dubai, on-site (relocation package available)

Our client, a High Frequency Trading tech start up, is looking for both a Lead DevOps Engineer and a Midlevel DevOps engineer to join them. In this role, you will collaborate with the wider software team, stakeholders and users to automate and optimise low-latency performance workflows and pipelines. You will monitor the real-time operation of the HFT systems, troubleshooting and resolving system issues, ensuring high availability. This role will require participation in an on-call rotation.

Experience Required: Lead DevOps Engineer

• 8+ years of software engineering or DevOps experience
• Either lead experience or ambition to lead a team
• Experience with low latency distributed systems or real-time availability systems
• Strong experience with DevOps best practices, Troubleshooting and Optimisation
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, and CI/CD
• Monitoring experience with tools like Grafana, Prometheous, Loki, Elasticsearch or similar
• Must have experience with Python for scripting
• Beneficial, but not essential: Incident Management and ClickHouse experience
