Your New Role
As a Lead IT
Auditor, you will be responsible for developing and executing audit plans
across finance, technology, operations, strategy, and compliance. Your role
includes conducting technology reviews to ensure adherence to the company's
operational and financial control procedures. You will monitor the company's
computer network for inefficiencies, fraud, and mismanagement, recommending
changes to optimise resources and safeguard company assets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technology audit
examinations with staff, ensuring compliance with the Institute of
Internal Auditors Standards.
- Develop audit programs to
address identified risks and create supporting work papers.
- Demonstrate situational
awareness, flexibility, and collaboration, adapting to challenging
circumstances to achieve results.
- Ensure compliance with
organizational systems, procedures, rules, objectives, and timelines (US
GAAP, company policies, and local regulatory requirements).
- Provide on-the-job
training and daily supervision of staff, including reviewing their work.
- Recommend changes to
existing operational and financial policies to correct deficiencies or
improve internal controls.
- Approach problems as
challenges, gather relevant information, identify root causes, develop
practical solutions, communicate findings, and implement actions to
resolve issues.
- Handle various
administrative duties, including selecting audit projects, managing staff
schedules, controlling costs, and overseeing special projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT,
Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Over six years of auditing
experience in the public or private sector is desirable.
- Knowledge of CISA and
other certifications (CPA, CA, CIA, CFE).
- Excellent audit skills and
the ability to perceive procedures and methods when no policy is in place.
- Proficiency in working
within an area of expertise.
- Strong analytical and
critical thinking skills, with an understanding of the broader business
environment.
- Fluency in English.
