Your new role

• Provide expert legal advice on data protection, privacy laws, and GDPR compliance to a wide range of clients.
• Draft, review, and negotiate privacy-related agreements and policies (such as data processing agreements, privacy notices, etc.).
• Assist clients with privacy audits, DPIAs and risk assessments.
• Keep up-to-date with legal developments in the privacy and data protection space and provide regular training and updates to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

What you need to succeed

• A proud holder of a degree from a reputable Portuguese Academic Institution.
• Experienced in GDPR, data protection laws, and regulatory frameworks, with DPO certification.
• Experience in IP/IT tasks such as contracting, software licensing, registration of trademarks and other Intellectual Property assets, specially in the digital environment, would be a significant advantage.
• Business oriented, with a strong ability to work efficiently, prioritise workflow, and to manage several clients at the time.
• Fluent in English, capable of charming both Portuguese and international client.
