We are looking for a NOC Engineer to ensure the stability and performance of mission-critical network operations, for direct integration with a leading telecom infrastructure project!

Salary range: up to 20k annual gross

Parque das Nações, Lisbon (on-site)

24x7 rotating shifts

What we're looking for:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with traditional network technologies;
• Previous experience in NOC or Service Desk roles is highly desirable;
• In-depth knowledge of telecommunications networks, including: SDH, DWDM, IP, Ethernet, MPLS;
• Optical fiber characterization (OTDR, COTDR, OSA, etc.);
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring systems;
• Relevant technical certifications are valued;
• Ability to analyze and solve technical problems;
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor all network assets, installations and support systems on a 24x7 basis;
• Operate and maintain the NOC, ensuring the reliability and quality of services;
• Manage and resolve network and infrastructure incidents efficiently, monitoring metrics such as MTTR and MTTI;
• Provision, test and deliver services to clients within the agreed deadlines;
• Be the first point of contact with customers (Customer Care Center), offering ongoing support;
• Manage operational tickets, carry out escalations and keep management informed of critical incidents;
• Maintain operational relationships with suppliers and ensure compliance with SLAs;
• Develop and publish operational and network performance reports;
• Actively participate in the continuous improvement of processes, tools and documentation;
• Propose innovative solutions to recurring problems and participate in the organization's strategic projects.
