Context :

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Railway V&V Engineer to join our Validation & Verification team. In this role, you will support the testing, analysis, and documentation activities that ensure our railway systems comply with safety, performance, and regulatory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career engineers interested in rail, transportation, or safety-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the verification and validation of railway subsystems according to project standards and industry regulations (e.g., CENELEC EN 50126/50128/50129).
• Execute test procedures, collect evidence, and prepare test reports.
• Assist in reviewing requirements, traceability matrices, and technical documentation.
• Participate in system integration, lab testing, and field-testing activities under supervision.
• Document defects, track issues, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve them.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of V&V processes and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Interest in the railway sector and safety-critical systems.
• Basic understanding of system engineering, testing, or software/hardware validation.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a structured environment and follow established processes.
• Good communication skills and fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
