To develop the relocation activity of the agency, we are looking for a Junior Relocation Coordinator who will work closely with the Relocation Coordinator to support and help our clients relocate to Portugal smoothly.


Who are we?

We are an independent relocation & real estate agency that offers services to people wishing to live in Portugal. To help our clients relocate to Portugal, we propose two categories of services:


  • Organise and facilitate all necessary admin procedures, including the Visa application
  • Search for properties available for purchase or long-term rental anywhere in Portugal.


The relocation service we offer is personalized and comprehensive. It is not limited to the search for rental properties alone; in fact, we take care of the entire visa application process , including obtaining the NIF and opening a bank account. We advise people on different neighborhoods and geographic areas to help them find a place where they'd be happy. We work closely with a legal team to review rental contracts to advise our clients.

Summary of the job

Each relocation journey begins with the unique story of a family , couple, or individual moving to Portugal . After the initial consultation, we guide our clients through the first steps of the relocation process, helping them organise their move with clarity and confidence.


As part of the team, you'll support both EU and non-EU clients - the latter requiring more time and paperwork. Clear communication, empathy, and organisation are key, as we serve as the client's main point of contact throughout their relocation journey.


Once we understand the client's profile and immigration requirements, you'll assist with the property search by sourcing listings from our network and public platforms, ensuring they match our clients' criteria. You'll coordinate directly with agents or owners to confirm property details and arrange visits.


After securing a lease or purchase, we continue to support our clients by setting up utilities and organising a warm welcome into their new home.


In this role, you'll work closely with the Relocation Coordinator, taking ownership of key tasks related to the visa process and property sourcing as well as give your own ideas to develop better ways of working and contribute to the improvement of the company.


Tasks

  • Act as the first point of contact for clients
  • Maintain regular communication with clients , manage their expectations, advise them and provide them with solutions in a timely manner
  • Oversee the end-to-end process, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and on budget
  • Call real estate agencies to schedule visits
  • Organise property visits in person or with WhatsApp
  • Provide appropriate and timely responses to inquiries and customer concerns
  • Develop, maintain and build lasting relationships with agencies, partners and stakeholders
  • Make phone calls and communicate via email and other channels
  • Support the management team in all activities, including social media presence
  • Create social media content, visuals and copy
  • Other tasks that are reasonably associated with the relocation role


Your profile

You have a good command of oral and written English , fluency in Portuguese is required and any other languages are desirable but not essential. You're enthusiastic, empathetic and confident picking up the phone to talk to people is natural to you. Most importantly, you're a nice person who cares for others .


You are organized and used to prioritizing the most important tasks . IT tools such as word processing, email management, and internet search (Google Maps and Google Suite) are familiar to you.


You are familiar with the Portuguese real estate market and know either Lisbon or Porto well. You love helping people even if they have high standards.


We are looking for a team member to join us as soon as possible to work full-time or part-time and who is available to start from June or July 2025.


Skills

Essential

  • Fluent Portuguese is required
  • A good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills: integrity, humility, respect, empathy, discretion
  • The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office and Google Suite, search engines and property portals
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Empathetic to others, willingness to help others
  • Be passionate about Portugal
  • Proficient using Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn


Desirable

  • Any additional language is desired but not required
  • Understanding or interest in the Portuguese real estate market
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and content creation


Working conditions and remuneration

  • Part-time or full-time (flexible schedule, between the hours of 9 am - 6 pm)
  • 6-month or 1-year contract with the possibility of renewal
  • Daily lunch allowance of € 6
  • Salary in line with the industry
  • Work from the co-working space in Paço de Arcos
  • Possibility of occasionally working from home
  • For this position, we can only consider EU/EFTA citizens or professionals with a valid EU residence permit
