Your Purpose



A Junior Q&R Superintendent is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Q&R Department and managing the Asset Management process and software adopted by the Company.



Your Impact



* Manages the new item encoding requests coming both from the ship and/or the office in liaise with Asset Management team;

* Manages the new equipment encoding requests coming both from the ship and/or the office in liaise with Asset Management team;

* Interfaces with the vessel to monitor PAR levels and reviews supporting documentation related to maintenance requests, ensuring completeness and compliance prior to final approval, which is granted by the Superintendent.

* Prepares and dispatchs the reports (performances, hotel defects, maintenance, costs, shipments, quality assurance, etc.) across the department and the whole organization;

Coordinates, together with the ship's superintendents, the training regarding the Asset Management software system towards Crew members and office employees.

* Responsible for handling all complexities related to the INFOSHIP system, including organizing regular meetings and managing administrative issues arising from requests and purchase order issuance through to resolution. Key focus areas include: capitalization processes, detailed activity descriptions in order issuance, order separation between materials and services, budget monitoring within the system, and supporting any necessary corrections.

* Will visit the vessel accordingly to the work load , ensuring storage supervision, especially during the Dry Docking activities



Your Journey so far



* A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline is preferred, though substantial industry experience may be considered as a substitute.

* Experience as a Cruise Hotel Maintenance officer, Hotel Service Technician, Hotel Engineer, Facilities Maintenance officer, Refurbishment Supervisor or a similar role in the shipbuilding or outfitting industry. In-depth understanding of SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) and IMO (International Maritime Organization) regulations, as well as maritime design and construction standards is a plus;

* Ability to interpret and work with detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics related to ship outfitting and interior design.

* A strong commitment to delivering high-quality results, maintaining a keen focus on risk management, and ensuring projects remain within scope and on time;

* MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, etc.);

* Asset Management software system knowledge is a plus (Amos, InfoSHIP, Shipsure, etc.)

* Ability to effectively plan, organize, delegate and control the work process;

* Good knowledge of the English language is required, second language is a plus;

Broad general knowledge of shipping and environmental laws and regulations including class regulations (BV, RINA) is a plus;
