Your new role
As a Junior Construction Project Manager, you will support project management in the construction field. This entry-level role involves coordinating construction projects, managing on-site progress, and working alongside experienced professional teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing project plans and schedules.
- Coordinate between contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Ensure on-site work aligns with plans.
- Identify and report project issues or delays.
- Monitor project costs and assist in budget management.
- Support procurement of materials and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with construction standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain communication with project stakeholders.
- Prepare progress reports for managers and clients.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in similar roles.
- Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Strong planning, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Fluent in English and native Portuguese speaker.
- Willingness to work on-site, flexible hours, and travel within Portugal.
