MDM Analyst is a member of team who manage master data in accordance with the defined quality standards and requirements by the relevant Data Steward to ensure enterprise data management is maintained to the level required to support efficient and effective operation. This includes improving and setting standards for data quality, creating & cleansing the master data sets, processing the creation and amendments to master data, monitoring data to ensure that it meets those standards and working with business users to ensure data errors are corrected. Identifying continuous improvement initiatives are welcome.
 

Your new role:

You´ll be part of a new Master Data project in Portugal and also be able to help to launch the area in Portugal. Support Senior Master Data in charge and Master Data team in general to maintain Big 4 data items and work together to reach and maintain data standards and policies across the Organization, Regions and Affiliates in scope of Project4D, but always looking for continuous improvement insights.

Live the Global Business Services organization’s shared customer focused view;

Support to execute MDM Policies and standards; 

Follow the defined decision rights in daily operations on basis of Data Steward’s requirements;

Collaborate with the global MDM team to ensure excellent customer satisfaction;

Continuously develop own talent learning and development to expand competencies and knowledge;

Execute business processes and use SAP MDG to ensure consistent master data across the organization;

Support Master Data operations to meet quality and Data Governance standards;

Escalate any issues and relevant Data Steward in a timely manner;

Ensure documentation of MDM changes in line with defined policies and requirements;

Support and provide inputs to the Global Data Owners on their data strategy and prioritization of effort.

 

What you need to be successful:

Bachelor degree in relevant area (nice to have);

2 years of experience in Master Data Management in a large company with a sound knowledge of finance processes (nice to have);

Strong English language ability;

SAP Skills;

Experience working with multiple countries/geographies;

Previous experience working within a GBS environment preferred.
