You will be a part of the Hays tech team working for an organization renowned for its innovative projects and collaborative environment, offering ample opportunities for professional growth and development.

 Your tasks

• Develop solutions using Java 18.
• Implement and maintain systems using Spring and Hibernate.
• Work with SQL and SonarQube for database management and code quality.
• Collaborate effectively within a team.
• Implement projects using Agile methodology.
• Actively participate in daily meetings and Agile ceremonies.
• Engage in planning, retrospectives, and code reviews.
• Maintain and support existing systems, fixing bugs and implementing continuous improvements.
• Monitor solution performance, suggesting and implementing optimizations.
• Implement unit tests.
• Document solutions to ensure quality and standardization.

 What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar.
• 1+ year of experience developing solutions using Java (Spring, Hibernate, SQL, SonarQube).
• Proficiency in core Java concepts such as object-oriented programming, exception handling, and generics.
• Experience with Java frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, or Struts.
• Understanding of SQL databases, JPA, and Hibernate for managing data.
• Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies, such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Proficiency in using version control systems like Git.
• Experience with SonarQube static analysis.
• Knowledge of Kotlin, Gradle, Maven, and Angular is a plus.
• Understanding of DWDM technology, including wavelength, frequency, and optical networking.
• Commitment to continuous learning in the rapidly evolving field of telecommunications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Fluent in English (B2/+).
