We are in constant transformation and looking for a self-motivated, proactive, and flexible Junior Financial Planning Analyst to join our Finance Planning & Analysis team in Lisbon.


What is the role overview?

As a Junior Financial Planning Analyst, you will support the FP&A team in delivering key financial insights and reports that help guide business decisions. This is a great opportunity to grow your career in financial planning within a dynamic and international banking environment.

You'll work closely with experienced colleagues across Finance team, gaining broad exposure to key areas such as budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and financial reporting, while continuously developing your technical, analytical, and business acumen in a dynamic and supportive environment.


What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Assist in preparing weekly and monthly financial reports across business areas.
  • Support the Treasury team with daily and monthly financial data.
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Help monitor and report costs to internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in the preparation of financial statements and reconciliations.
  • Support the development of business plans, KPIs, and financial models.
  • Collaborate on process improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Learn and apply best practices in financial analysis and reporting.


What are we looking for?

1) Qualifications and Experience

  • Around 1 year of experience in a finance-related role.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or another related field.


2) Skills

  • Strong willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in Portuguese and English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


3) Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of financial concepts.
  • Familiarity with SQL or BI tools
