We're Hiring: Junior Financial Modeller

Location: Lisbon

Your Mission:

• Support the development of financial models, business plans, and investment cases for complex, high-value projects-particularly in the water and wastewater sector.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (finance, commercial, technical, operational, legal, and business development), contributing to tenders, contract renewals, new projects, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
• Support senior team members in the analysis, preparation, and validation of financial information for decision-making.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Management, Accounting, or a related field.
• Around 2 years of experience in financial modelling.
• Interest in infrastructure, utilities, concessions, or PPP projects.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, cash flow modelling, and business planning.
• Familiarity with key financial metrics: NPV, IRR, EBITDA, CAPEX, OPEX, working capital, and free cash flow.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), Power BI, and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of financial modelling best practices and/or AI tools is a plus.
• Exposure to project finance, concessions, or infrastructure investment (preferred).
• Knowledge of public procurement processes in Portugal (preferred).
• Experience in preparing or reviewing business plans and bid documentation (preferred)
• Fluent in Portuguese and good command of English
