We are looking for a Junior Commodity Trader. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong technical, commercial and analytical skills to support and manage commodity trading operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support senior traders in the negotiation, execution, and management of international commodity trading activities.
• Monitor global commodity markets, pricing dynamics, freight rates, and supply-demand fundamentals.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective counterparties.
• Prepare commercial offers, pricing calculations, profitability analyses, and trading reports.
• Coordinate shipments, logistics, and contract execution with internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, brokers, and logistics partners.
• Support trading risk management and ensure accurate contract administration and documentary compliance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.

Perfil desejado

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, International Trade, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in commodity trading, procurement, sales, logistics, supply chain, or a related commercial environment.
• Commercial mindset with strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced international environment and willingness to travel when required.
