We're looking for a Junior Collateral Risk Analyst to strengthen our team and support daily margin and collateral activities within a fast paced banking environment.
In this role, you'll help ensure the accuracy, stability, and integrity of our collateral processes by managing daily margin calls, reconciling portfolios, and resolving discrepancies with counterparties.
What you'll do:
- Review and validate data quality before issuing margin calls
- Issue daily margin calls and manage responses from counterparties
- Reconcile portfolios and resolve trade level discrepancies
- Book eligible collateral across cash and bonds
- Process payments and receipts related to margin activity
- Monitor control reports to ensure timely management of breaks, fails, and exceptions
- Keep collateral agreements and amendments updated across core systems
What you bring:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar.
Technical skills
- Solid command of Excel
- Strong English proficiency (mandatory)
Hybrid work, with 2/3 days of work in the office in LISBON per week
Late shift: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM
