Multinational company is looking to strengthen its team by hiring a Junior Accountant (m/f/d) in the district of Castelo Branco.

Your new role

As a Junior Accountant, you will be an integral part of our finance team, contributing to the accurate and timely reporting of financial data. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Support tax preparation activities, including collecting data and preparing initial tax returns.
• Reconciling bank statements and financial records.
• Supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Participating in audits and providing necessary documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
  
  

What You'll Need to Succeed

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Professional experience of 2-3 years in the accounting and finance field.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Experience with ERP systems is essential 
• Proficient in English Language 
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
