A leading industrial group specializing in packaging production (plastic and metal transformation) and plastic recycling is seeking an experienced Country Manager to lead and expand our operations in Angola.

Descrição da Função

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the Group’s activities in Angola.
• Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with local regulations.
• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets.
• Oversee production facilities in packaging and recycling, optimizing performance and resources.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and government authorities.
• Recruit, manage, and develop local teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure alignment with Group objectives and report directly to headquarters.

Perfil do Candidato

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior management role (Country Manager, General Manager, or equivalent), preferably in the manufacturing, packaging, or recycling industries.
• Strong track record of managing operations, P&L responsibility, and leading multicultural teams.
• Solid background in industrial environments, with exposure to production and operational challenges.
• Experience in change management and corporate restructurings is highly desirable.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience in Africa will be considered a strong advantage.
• Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus).
