 Join Our Clients Team as a Java Technical Lead! 

 Location Hybrid Lisbon

 Contract Type Full-Time, Direct Contract with the Client

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Java Technical Lead to join our clients team. As a Technical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and improving architectural solutions across the application lifecycle. You will support enterprise architects and lead the execution of MVP/POC solutions in new environments.

 Responsibilities

• Utilize established development tools and frameworks, including Java, Oracle, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Angular.
• Participate in MVP and Scrum/SAFe ceremonies, delivering actionable outcomes.
• Refine functional story points and provide detailed technical guidance to team members.
• Enhance frameworks and resolve defects in Java applications.
• Analyze business objectives, propose action plans, and improve existing systems.
• Ensure performance requirements through automation and reduced lead times.
• Collaborate with system, solution, and enterprise architects to design large-scale developments.
• Explore new technologies and integrate them effectively into solutions.
• Create technical specifications and test plans.
• Maintain stability and resolve critical operational issues.

 Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent.

Experience

• At least 7 years developing large complex systems using Java, Linux, Maven, Oracle DB, Ansible, Splunk, SonarQube, React, and Angular.
• Minimum 5 years working on interfaces across different technical domains.
• At least 3 years as a lead developer.
• Professional certifications in Java or Oracle (highly preferred).
• Solid background in object-oriented development techniques and solution design patterns (e.g., SOA).

Experience in

• Database design and development (Oracle).
• Web services, MVC Architecture, and Service-Oriented Architecture.
• CI/CD processes, version control (Git), and tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Self-starter, flexible, and innovative mindset.
