What we're looking for:

• 4+ years of professional experience working with Java, preferably using Java 8 or newer versions
• Solid background in object-oriented programming, with experience in Java or other comparable OOP languages
• Experience with backend and distributed systems technologies such as Scala, Kafka, Akka, Memcached, Apache Storm, Apache Cassandra, Zookeeper and RabbitMQ
• Exposure to most or all of the listed technologies is preferred, though not mandatory, with openness to learning supported by the team
• Fluency in English (B2 level)

Important:

This position has a remote work model based in Portugal. Candidates should be based in Portugal, and have a Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit, to be considered.
