Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain robust backend services in Java.
- Develop interactive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Integrate Java applications with databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Actively engage in Scrum events and contribute to agile processes.
- Implement best practices for clean, testable, and efficient code.
- Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews.
- Utilize CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Git for automation of build, testing, and deployment.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience with Java.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (Angular, React, or Vue.js is a plus).
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Microservices Architecture, Cloud Architecture, and Container Architecture.
- Knowledge of domain-driven design, event sourcing, reactive programming, automated testing, and security.
- Experience developing Java UI applications following best practices.
- Ability to analyze and improve application performance and resource utilization.
- Development Practices & Tools:
- Experience with version control, IDEs, and data dashboards.
- Knowledge of DevOps quality practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Portuguese Residency.
- Availability to go to the office, twice per week.
