 Join Our Clients Team as a Java Developer! 

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Java Developer to join a growing international team supporting a national-scale infrastructure platform in the Netherlands. The role is part of a long-term digital transformation initiative led by one of the worlds largest IT services companies.

Location Lisbon (Alfragide) Hybrid (2 days/week on-site)

Your Role

As a Java Developer, you will design, develop and maintain Java-based business applications supporting complex logistics and infrastructure processes. You will be part of a collaborative team contributing to the full development cycle with a focus on quality, scalability and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Use established tools and conventions with Java, Oracle, JavaScript, CSS, React, Angular
• Maintain and enhance complex Java applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale developments
• Monitor application performance and propose improvements
• Lead troubleshooting and resolve defects
• Participate in design discussions, prepare technical documentation and test plans
• Ensure CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Bamboo) and quality standards (SonarQube)

Requirements and Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience with complex Java-based enterprise systems
• Experience with tools and frameworks like
• Linux, Maven, Oracle DB, Tibco EMS, Ansible, Splunk
• Jenkins/Bamboo, Git, SonarQube
• React, Angular
• Excellent understanding of OOP, SOA, MVC, Agile & SDLC
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Passion for continuous learning and innovation

Nice to Have

• Java and Oracle professional certifications
• Background in infrastructure, logistics or public systems
• Experience leading distributed Agile teams
