What will you do?

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Java;
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to understand and refine business requirements;
• Translate requirements into clean, efficient, and well-documented code;
• Produce technical documentation, flowcharts, and solution layouts;
• Implement unit, component, and integration tests in coordination with the QA team;
• Deploy and monitor applications using modern CI/CD tools and practices;
• Participate in code reviews, share feedback, and mentor junior team members.

What do you need?

• 10+ years of experience in Java backend development;
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other major cloud providers;
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (offsets, brokers, partitions, consumer groups);
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Datadog;
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies;
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL), including indexing, optimization, and ACID principles;
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases and understanding of the differences from SQL;
• Proven experience in the banking or financial services sector is a strong advantage;
• Solid grasp of microservices architecture and asynchronous communication patterns;
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms;
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications;
• Background in large-scale enterprise distributed systems;
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
