We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join an international team on a strategic long-term project in the Financial Risk domain.

Main Tasks:

• Develop and maintain applications using Java and PL/SQL.
• Collaborate with business analysts in the Risk domain.
• Translate UI/UX mockups into Angular components with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Define and implement API architectures.
• Participate in technical analysis, effort estimations, testing, and documentation.
• Support parallel runs and production releases.

Technical Skills:

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience with Java (version 1.8 or above).
• Solid knowledge of SQL/PLSQL.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Core, Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of scalable, high-performance solution design.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Background in Mathematics or Finance.
• Fluency in French.
• Experience with schedulers like Control-M or $Universe.
• Proficiency with Git and branching strategies.
• Perl scripting knowledge.

Hybrid Role in Porto.
