We are looking for na IT Support Technician to join our project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support to internal users, ensuring efficient resolution of incidents, and maintaining IT systems in line with operational needs. You will be a key part of the team responsible for first and second-line support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

User & Ticket Support:

  • Manage and resolve support tickets using the EasyVista platform.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to internal users, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Classify, prioritize, and route support tickets according to severity and type.
  • Answer and triage support calls, maintaining a high level of customer service.

Technical Operations:

  • Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Perform VPN configuration and support for end-users working remotely.
  • Support network troubleshooting activities and escalate when necessary.
  • Conduct software installations and updates, ensuring compliance with internal IT standards.

Access & Incident Management:

  • Assess and manage access change requests and their potential impact.
  • Execute the classification and distribution of incidents in accordance with ITIL best practices.
  • Support the resolution of technical incidents, escalating to higher-level teams when appropriate.

Internal Support & Documentation:

  • Deliver basic training to company employees on IT tools and procedures.
  • Maintain updated documentation of incidents, procedures, and resolutions for knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to identify process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related area.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems, preferably EasyVista.
  • Proficient in Windows operating systems, Office 365, VPN tools, and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of incident classification, hardware maintenance, and user account management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in regulated environments (e.g. pharma, banking, healthcare) is a plus.

Location: 100% on-site, Lisbon.
