Your New Role
As an IT Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in shaping the functionality and usability of key digital platforms and integration tools. Acting as the primary bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, you will manage and evolve the product roadmap, ensure alignment across multiple digital channels, and drive improvements to the user experience. You will also be responsible for collecting and prioritising feature requests, writing clear user stories, and ensuring successful delivery through agile practices.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain a well-structured product backlog aligned with business objectives and technical feasibility.
Perform basic SQL queries to validate data, support investigations, and assist with analytics.
Oversee the rollout of new features and functionalities across digital channels (Web, EDI, API), ensuring consistency and coherence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Professional Services, Sales, and Customer Support, to ensure smooth customer deployments.
Gather, structure, and translate stakeholder requirements into epics and detailed user stories.
Take an active part in agile ceremonies, including daily scrums, sprint planning, reviews, and project steering committees (SteerCo).
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate feature delivery against expectations.
Support the industrialisation and operational readiness of newly launched modules, focusing on user onboarding, documentation, and internal enablement.
Ensure high-quality communication of new functionalities to relevant internal teams and support user adoption efforts.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Practical experience writing and executing SQL queries to support product-related tasks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp business needs and technical challenges.
Confident in presenting ideas and defending recommendations in a persuasive and constructive manner.
Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Fluency in English is essential.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies; PO certification is a strong advantage.
Deep interest in digital platforms and modern web technologies.
Awareness of user-centred design, usability, and digital ergonomics.
Experience working in international, cross-cultural environments and distributed teams.
