We're hiring: IT Infrastructure Team Leader (Hybrid - Lisbon, Carnaxide)

Your Mission

As IT Infrastructures Team Leader, you will:

• Lead a cross-functional IT infrastructure team, ensuring efficient operations across servers, networks, and cloud environments.
• Oversee strategic improvements while ensuring high-performance, secure, and scalable systems.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to deliver robust, future-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the infrastructure team to ensure service excellence.
• Oversee server, virtualization, cloud, and network operations.
• Manage hybrid environments including VMWare, Citrix, and Azure.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with performance and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with providers on complex projects such as migrations and infrastructure redesigns.
• Support toolsets including Zabbix, Nagios, ForeScout, Okta, GoAnywhere MFT, and ITIL-based platforms like Jira.
• Ensure strategic backup management using Veeam and Barracuda.
• Act as a key internal resource for cybersecurity, networking, and cloud platform evolution.

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure teams, preferably across different countries.
• Strong technical background in:
• Networking& Security (Cisco, Checkpoint, WatchGuard and Azure Firewall) - internal knowledge is essential even if supported by providers
• Microsoft/Linux environments
• Virtualization (VMWare, Citrix)
• Cloud services: Azure PaaS, IaaS (App Service, SQL MI, Load Balancer, etc.)
• Backup & Security tools
• Comfortable with scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
• ITIL knowledge and Agile methodology experience are strong assets.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
