The Group Leader - Senior Product Owner will oversee and guide a team of software developers within the industrial/manufacturing of IoT devices related to Public Security Management. This role is based in Ovar - Aveiro region and requires strong technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure project success and team efficiency.

• Manage and lead a team of software developers to achieve project objectives.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee software development projects from inception to completion.
• Establish and maintain software engineering processes and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align software development with business goals.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure deliverables are met within deadlines.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance development efficiency.
• Report progress and challenges to senior management and stakeholders.

Profile

A successful Senior Product Owner should have:

• Experience as Product Owner, Quality Assurance Manager or Engineering Manager;
• Hands-on working experience with software development, mainly C/C++;
• Experience with multi-disciplinary product development (HW, FW, SW
• Experience with embedded software;
• Experienced in leading multi-site technical teams, connecting, inspiring and motivating people;
• Excellent team leadership skills;
• Agile/scrum/kanban/SAFe experience with leading, planning, tracking, scrum master;
• Excellent communicator;
• Willing to travel between company locations and customer locations, including international;
• Specific knowledge of communications systems is a plus.
