Adecco Recruitment is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background in networking, Windows Server management, Microsoft 365 platform, database administration, and troubleshooting. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in similar positions and a readiness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain networking and firewall systems.
• Administer Windows Server environments, including AD, DNS, DHCP, and NPS.
• Oversee the Microsoft 365 platform, specifically SharePoint.
• Administer and manage Active Directory and network services.
• Handle Microsoft database administration tasks.
• Perform troubleshooting for software and hardware issues.
• Configure, install, and update operating systems and software (ERPs, CRMs).
• Provide Helpdesk support and manage ticketing software.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through friendly and organized support.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles.
• Bachelors degree in a technology-related field (preferably IT).
• Extensive experience with networking (Data Centre environment, LAN, WAN, VMs, AD, DNS, DHCP).
• Solid experience with Windows operating systems (Windows Server, Windows 10/11, Office 365) and valued experience with Linux.
• Proven experience in system installation, configuration, and updates.
• Experience in Helpdesk support and ticketing software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Availability for travel and possession of a valid drivers license (Category B).
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Hybrid (Porto or Lisbon)
