Prepare management accounts for review by the Finance Manager and support group reporting, analysis, and compliance.
Description
- Maintain bookkeeping and accounting records across multiple subsidiaries;
- Record and monitor prepayments, accruals, and other adjusting entries;
- Prepare month-end and year-end accounts for review by the Finance Manager;
- Prepare management accounts and group-level reporting packages;
- Perform variance analysis, highlighting key trends and insights;
- Support senior management with financial commentary and decision-making information;
- Support external audits and provide required schedules and documentation;
- Assist in group consolidation and ensure compliance with local accounting standards;
- Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheets, and intercompany accounts, VAT/ tax returns;
- Liaise with external local bookkeepers, ensuring local books are accurate and up to date.
Profile
- Academic background in Accounting, Management, Finance or similar;
- Accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent);
- Minimum 2 years experience in multi-entity bookkeeping and management accounting;
- International experience;
- Fluent in English;
- Knowledge of IFRS, multi-currency accounting, and audit processes;
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (SAGE 50, Xero, or similar);
- Strong Excel and analytical skills;
- Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized;
- Strong communication skills.
