Adecco Permanent Recruitment is currently hiring a Global IT Internal Control Specialist for a leading multinational company, to join its Shared Services Center based in Porto.

The Challenge

This position is part of the global IT function and will be responsible for

• Supporting IT quality, compliance, and internal control initiatives;
• Evaluating IT risks and ensuring effective controls are in place;
• Performing design and operating effectiveness testing of internal controls;
• Collaborating with Internal Audit, IT Process Owners, and Application Owners;
• Assisting in the definition and follow-up of corrective action plans;
• Promoting good practices and compliance standards across the organization.

What were looking for

• Relevant experience in IT compliance, internal control, audit, or risk management;
• Strong knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGC), security, and automated controls;
• Experience identifying control gaps and proposing improvement actions;
• CISA or CISM certification is a plus;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills;
• Autonomous, proactive, and analytical mindset.
