The Internal Audit Business Partner will work within the Internal Audit team and partner with the business to provide independent and objective assurance to senior stakeholders and the Audit Committee on the effectiveness of the companies control and governance processes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and oversee a portfolio of audits and provide associated support on initiatives within the department to assess and improve the effectiveness of controls in mitigating key business risks across core financial and operational processes;
Plan, perform and report on audit activities and deliverables across the full lifecycle of the assignments, in line with defined methodologies and standards;
Where additional resources are assigned, supervise and review the work of others on the assignment; complete more complex testing on audits;
Collaborate with the Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Controls and Compliance teams, to provide coordinated assurance on areas covered by audit assignments;
Engage and challenge senior management and help to shape the business control environment;
Add value to management teams, by providing insight based on understanding of the business or subject matter areas;
Contribute to and support the ongoing operations and continuous improvement of the department
Profile
About You
Significantly qualified by experience and/or possessing a recognized professional qualification in financial and operational processes;
Experience in the use of audit techniques such as process analysis, data analytics and root cause analysis;
Demonstrated competencies in the areas of stewardship, strategic thinking, operational excellence and driving change;
Have a clear and succinct communication, presentation and report writing style;
A team player and innovative thinker with attention to detail and the ability to influence a diverse group of finance and non-finance stakeholders;
Track record of leading value-adding risk assurance reviews and assessment of multiple processes, controls, business areas or projects within a listed business with global operations or through direct experience within a professional audit or services firm; and
Knowledge and experience of finance and operational processes that support a medical technology provider within the chronic care market, including experience of working in a global shared services environment.
Travel Requirements
Flexibility to travel, globally, mostly to a self-defined schedule. Key locations include the US, UK, Europe and China. Overall travel estimated at 10-30%, depending on the specific audit assignments. Most trips will include overnight travel.
