Descrição da Função

We are looking for an Integration Engineer for our client, STARK, to contribute to an ambitious strategic project. At STARK, we drive a digital transformation that spans our entire value chain-from sourcing to sales-and requires seamless integration across IT systems to enhance customer service.

As an Integration Engineer, you will collaborate with developers, architects, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to design, implement, and maintain integration solutions. You will help establish and grow the integration platform, ensuring scalability and stability.

The primary tasks for the Integration Engineer are to step into the different capability domains, create an overview of the required data flows, and implement them according to the integration framework. This includes integrating software applications, hardware systems, and data sources to create a seamless and efficient workflow.

Secondarily, you will be part of our data team, ensuring that data is available for the different domains. This team functions as the Centre of Excellence, supporting the domains that have dedicated integration resources. This includes providing best practices, tools, and governance related to STARK's integration setup.

Main Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and understanding the organization's needs and identifying opportunities for integration.
  • Designing and planning integration solutions based on the organization's requirements and goals.
  • Implementing integration solutions, including configuring and testing systems, applications, and data sources.
  • Managing the integration process, including coordinating with stakeholders, monitoring progress, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Providing ongoing support and maintenance for the integration solutions.

Main Assignments

  • Establish integrations for new applications being introduced in the IT renewal program currently running at STARK Group.
  • Estimate complex features.
  • Actively participate in quarterly Big Room Planning events, focusing on providing feedback on constraints (people and technical) and dependencies with other teams or external vendors.
  • Participate actively in the team's Scrum ceremonies.
  • Work on replacing the current hybrid setup of JBOSS and Dell Boomi middleware with a modern, streaming, event-based approach.
  • Actively participate in STARK IT technical forums.

Qualifications

Technical Requirements (Must-Have Skills):

  • Minimum 2+ years of overall integration development experience.
  • Experience with different methodologies and platforms related to integrations, primarily data transfer.
  • Experience with message-based and event-based integrations (ideally Kafka).
  • Experience with containers: Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Strong technical skills and experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
  • Experience working in a software development environment with many dependencies on other teams and stakeholders.

Good-to-Have:

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Experience with cloud development practices, ideally on Azure.
  • Experience with Kafka streaming pipelines.
  • Experience with event-based data processing.
  • Experience with CI/CD.

Soft Skills Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to research, troubleshoot, and logically determine solutions.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to work effectively with various stakeholders and address issues as they arise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline OR equivalent years of experience in the required skills.
