ATEPELI - Ateliers de Portugal, is part of one of the largest international luxury groups. At ATEPELI we are dedicated to the production of exclusive leather goods and footwear components. Currently, we have 3 workshops in the north of Portugal, more specifically, in Ponte de Lima, Penafiel and Santa Maria da Feira. We are currently looking for an experienced IT Specialist to drive technological excellence in our luxury production.

Can you master IT challenges to keep luxury production at its peak?

• Manage and resolve Priority 1 IT incidents directly impacting production and shipping operations.
• Provide flexible IT support tailored to the specific needs of each location.
• Ensure the compatibility of on-site requests with established governance guidelines.
• Conduct regular audits and manage the complete lifecycle of equipment.
• Actively participate in strategic planning to safeguard the continuity of essential operations.
• Effectively coordinate maintenance tasks in collaboration with local management.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives with the aim of increasing user satisfaction.
• Manage interventions by external IT partners, including network and telephony services.
• Ensure compliance with and rigorous application of standards set by central teams.
• Implement changes approved by business divisions after due validation.
• Supervise on-site material management, ensuring stock security and hardware replacement.
• Provide installation services for PCs, phones, and tablets, offering comprehensive support to users of these devices.
• Act as a local point of contact for IT project implementations and infrastructure upgrades, providing post-implementation support and actively participating in problem-solving.
• Be responsible for preparing weekly activity reports for hierarchical management.
• Create and manage purchase orders for all on-site IT activities.
• Collaborate with central support to optimize IT technical documentation.

Is this position for you?

You possess relevant IT qualifications and a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the field. You are an expert in hands-on support and operations management. You are capable of communicating effectively to achieve business objectives. You lead with autonomy and deliver precise reports. You are adaptable to rapidly changing environments. You are fluent in English, with French being an advantage. Experience in industrial environments or international contexts will be highly considered. You have technical expertise in Network & Telecommunications (WAN MPLS, LAN/WLAN/IPT Cisco), Windows client platforms, mobile devices (Apple), and the O365 suite.
