Adecco is hiring an Indirect Procurement Specialist focusing on Marketing & Corporate Services. This role is based in Tramagal (Abrantes) and offered under a local contract with Mitsubishi Fuso Truck Europe. The position is situated within the Procurement / Supply Chain function and is responsible for end-to-end sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations across key marketing-related categories. The role ensures that procurement activities are fully aligned with business requirements and strictly comply with HQs procurement policies, processes, and compliance standards. The Indirect Procurement Specialist will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, providing procurement expertise and ensuring governance, risk management, and cost optimization within the designated categories.

What You Will Do?

  • Lead sourcing activities for Marketing, Market Research, Event Management, and other indirect categories, ensuring alignment with HQs procurement policy and governance rules.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle with digital, creative, and media agencies, market research partners, and event planning, production, and related services providers.
  • Conduct spends analysis, benchmarking, category strategies, and cost optimization initiatives to support procurement and category management objectives across all assigned categories.
  • Oversee supplier management activities, including supplier performance reviews, business review meetings, and evaluation of quality, performance, compliance, and innovation.
  • Ensure all suppliers comply with corporate standards, ethical guidelines, agreed contractual obligations, and relevant global standards for ethics, sustainability, and third-party risk management.
  • Support Marketing, Communications, HR, Finance, and other stakeholders with procurement expertise, acting as the key point of contact for procurement processes and compliance requirements.
  • Lead commercial negotiations to achieve cost savings, improved service levels, and risk mitigation, partnering with Legal and HQ procurement teams to review contracts and master agreements.
  • Ensure contract lifecycle management in line with HQ contractual templates, approval matrix, auditing requirements, and documentation retention standards.
  • Promote and ensure consistent use of HQ procurement tools and systems, including e-sourcing, e-procurement, and reporting dashboards, and support internal and external audits related to procurement operations.
  • Manage Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) activities, including PR/PO processes, troubleshooting invoice mismatches and system issues, and supporting users on procurement systems in accordance with HQ P2P guidelines.

Your Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain, or a related discipline, providing a solid foundation for procurement and category management activities.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in indirect procurement, preferably with marketing-related categories, including experience with marketing operations and vendor ecosystems in complex environments.
  • Experience working in multinational or matrix organizations, with a solid understanding of procurement governance and global policy compliance requirements.
  • Strong negotiation, supplier management, and project management skills, with the ability to balance cost efficiency, service quality, and risk management across multiple categories.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, enabling effective collaboration with Marketing, Communications, HR, Finance, Legal, and HQ procurement teams.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking with high attention to detail, including the ability to perform spends analysis, benchmarking, and development of category strategies and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems such as SAP Ariba and Coupa, and familiarity with HQ procurement tools, e-sourcing, e-procurement platforms, and reporting dashboards.
  • Knowledge of contract law and strategic sourcing principles, with experience managing RFPs for marketing and event categories and overseeing contract lifecycle management.
  • Procurement certifications are an advantage and support ongoing development in procurement governance, strategic sourcing, and best practices.
