As HR Business Partner, you will play a central role in managing all core HR activities for the Porto Support Office. This position requires a hands-on professional with strong operational experience across the full HR areas, including recruitment, employee relations, contract management, compliance, training, and day-to-day HR administration.
Description
- Support the setup and implementation of all core HR processes within the Support Office (employment contracts, onboarding, payroll coordination, time management, etc.);
- Create and maintain HR documentation, policies, and procedures in compliance with local labor legislation;
- Establish internal HR systems and ensure proper HR data management and reporting;
- Develop employee files, databases, and templates from the ground up;
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for the Support Office and the Factory, from defining job requirements to onboarding new employees.
- Contribute to workforce planning and ensure timely staffing to support operational ramp-up;
- Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related topics;
- Manage employment contracts, amendments, terminations, and ensure compliance with Portuguese labor law;
- Liaise with external legal advisors, payroll providers, and public authorities;
- Promote a positive and collaborative working environment aligned with company culture and values;
Profile
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in HR, preferably in an industrial or shared services environment;
- Proven experience in building HR structures or teams from scratch;
- Strong knowledge of Portuguese labor law and HR operational processes;
- Hands-on, pragmatic, and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a service-oriented mindset;
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); Portuguese required.
