The HR Team Leader will lead and develop the HR Shared Services team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR operations across payroll, employee lifecycle management, recruitment administration, and service excellence. Based in Santarém, this role will drive operational efficiency, process standardisation, service quality, and continuous improvement within a dynamic multinational Global Business Services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the HR Shared Services team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the achievement of operational goals and service standards;
• Operations: Oversee end-to-end HR processes, including payroll administration, employee master data management, onboarding, offboarding, and recruitment administration activities;
• Service Excellence: Ensure the consistent delivery of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), maintaining high levels of accuracy, responsiveness, compliance, and customer satisfaction across HR services;
• Transformation: Drive process improvement and HR transformation initiatives, leveraging best practices and HR systems to enhance efficiency, standardisation, and operational performance;

Profile

What you bring:

• Experience: Proven experience in HR Operations, Payroll, and Shared Services environments, ideally within a multinational, GBS, SSC, or BPO organisation managing multi-country processes;
• Systems: Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HCM, combined with a solid understanding of HR systems, data management, and process optimisation;
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams, driving performance, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement;
• Communication: Fluent English skills with good stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities; additional European languages are considered an advantage;
