What will be your mission?

 

As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will perform routine duties in cleaning and servicing rooms and common areas, promoting a positive image of the hotel and addressing guest requests and problems. 

What will you do?

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring that cleanliness, maintenance, and service standards are consistently met while also providing hands-on operational support. This role serves as a key liaison between the operational team and the Housekeeping Director, ensuring the proper execution of procedures, onboarding and training of new team members, and the prompt resolution of any issues. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas meet brand standards and LQA requirements.
• Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas, addressing any deficiencies directly to ensure service standards are maintained, reporting issues to the Housekeeping Director, and ensuring timely resolution.
• Supervise Room Attendants, Housemen, and Public Area Attendants to maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Provide operational support to the team, including actively participating in the cleaning and final preparation of both VIP and regular guest rooms to ensure quality standards and deadlines are achieved.
• Train new team members on procedures, equipment usage, and service standards in accordance with guidelines established by the Housekeeping Director.
• Coordinate with the Front Office regarding arrivals and departures, communicating relevant updates and room status information.
• Monitor the availability of supplies and equipment required by the department, reporting shortages to the Housekeeping Director and collaborating to ensure operational continuity.
• Ensure housekeeping offices and storage areas are organized and fully stocked with the items required for daily room operations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest complaints related to housekeeping or maintenance.
• Assign daily tasks and allocate room assignments according to workload, operational priorities, and occupancy levels.
• Report room status, maintenance requirements, and operational issues to the Housekeeping Director through daily monitoring and follow-up.
• Monitor the use of guest amenities and cleaning products within assigned areas, ensuring proper usage in line with company standards and reporting any discrepancies or replenishment needs.
• Prepare and maintain reports on room readiness, cleaning productivity, service irregularities, and special interventions for review by the Housekeeping Director.
• Assist with the monthly inventory of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies, including physical stock counts and inventory verification.

Competitive Compensation Package

• Reference Gross Annual Salary (RAL) starting from €28,000, determined according to the candidate's experience and professional qualifications. The actual amount offered will be prorated based on the duration of the employment relationship and the months of effective service worked.
• 13th and 14th salary payments.
• End-of-Service Indemnity (TFR) in accordance with applicable regulations.
