ABOUT THE JOB

As Executive Housekeeper, you will lead the Housekeeping operation at Quinta da Comporta and play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You will oversee the Housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards across guest rooms, villas, and public areas, from daily operations and quality control to VIP preparations and special requests.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading, organising and developing the Housekeeping team.

• Ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation and service.

• Overseeing room inspections, arrivals, departures and turndown.

• Implementing and maintaining Housekeeping SOPs and quality standards.

• Managing schedules, staffing, stock, linen and departmental administration.

• Working closely with Front Office, Maintenance and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

• Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training and team development.

• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards.

• Preparing the department for quality audits and inspections.

You will be the guardian of Housekeeping standards, fostering a culture of excellence, discretion and genuine care for our guests.

ABOUT YOU

• We are looking for a hands-on and inspiring leader with:

• Solid Housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel environment.

• Proven experience managing and developing teams.

• Strong operational, organisational and quality-control skills.

• An exceptional eye for detail and presentation.

• A genuine commitment to luxury hospitality and guest experience.

• Strong communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Absolute discretion, professionalism and resilience.

• Fluency in Portuguese and English. Additional languages are a plus.
